ABOUT OUR PRESCHOOL

Our public preschool has both general education & special education classes.

We:

  • use Creative Curriculum.  

  • have a certified teacher & teacher assistant in every class 

  • are for resident students who are 3- and 4-yrs old by October 1st

  • have a full-time nurse

  • have bussing to in-district locations

  • have fully appointed classrooms, a large gym and a fenced-in playground 

  • have a community garden in our own backyard  

  • have a home & school association 

  • offer a 5-day per week full-day preschool program, free to resident students 

  • hold a lottery from completed applications for admission in our general education classrooms

If you are concerned your preschool child is developing or learning differently, you can call the district to request an evaluation for preschool special education and related services. For more information call 973-292-2222 and press 7 for the Child Study Team. 3-year- old children with special needs are eligible for Preschool on or after their 3rd birthday.
