The Board of Education convened for its monthly meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Morristown High School Learning Commons. The session featured two notable highlights: an update on college and career outcomes and a special sports recognition ceremony celebrating our standout student-athletes.

The Morris School District Board of Education convened for its monthly meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Morristown High School Learning Commons. On Monday, March 16th, the Morris School District paid tribute to 20 outstanding staff members, officially honoring them as the 2025-2026 Governor’s Educators of the Year. The event recognized the teachers and educational services professionals who have demonstrated exceptional support for their students and the district.

Morris School District administrators hosted a "State of Our Facilities" presentation on March 9 to share information on the most pressing needs across the district’s 10 schools. The district is planning a bond referendum in the fall of 2026.
